"Photography for me is not looking, it's feeling. If you can't feel what you're looking at, then you're never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures." - Don McCullin

About
I started taking photographs in 2009, I had been interested in photography for many years and have always been fascinated by the impact of beautiful images. I have spent my time since learning how to use the equipment, develop better understanding but mainly trying to capture beautiful images that might inspire others.

I am fascinated by the old black and white images of the 1950s and 60s. I am drawn to those images that tell a story, or convey an emotion. My photographic style is still very much developing, but I particularly like to take pictures of every day life in Manchester and the north west of England. I spend many hours walking the streets of Manchester, capturing everything from the every day activity of the city to the urban landscape.

I hope the images are honest reflections of what I see, this is an important element of what I am trying to achieve. I truly hope you enjoy them.
